Bikkel Artist

2026. Guided Tour by Bikkel Artist in the exhibition "MADNESS" at Museum Maassluis.
On November 30th, as a board member of Museum Maassluis Foundation, Bikkel Artist was invited by educator Nadia van Rietschoten to take the group "Woman Network" on a special tour into this madness exhibition.
With about twenty participants, we We reflected on three key points in the exhibition.
1. BUNDLE. Example: Hans Korving with his glass object "Lariekoekoek". When you look at the work, you understand it in a split second. A title isn't really necessary, but it's a nice addition. The expressiveness of the work brings it all together.
2. EMOTION. Example: Bas Verkade with his oppressive oil painting.
3. MOMENTO. Example: John Posthumus with his collage of torn, previously made drawings. A timeline where nothing runs synchronously.
